Graduate and Undergraduate students interested in performing research in the Chuvashova Research Group should contact Professor Chuvashova by email (irina.chuvashova@fiu.edu) to discuss this opportunity. Please be sure to include a CV or resume, a brief statement of research interests and transcripts. Prior to joining the group and beginning research, undergraduate students are required to have passed general chemistry, taken FIU safety training and been enrolled at FIU for at least one semester. Students are expected to make a multi-semester commitment to their research projects with the goal of publishing original research results.

Graduate Nuclear Research Fellowship applications in the Spring 2022 semester.
The Innovation in Buildings (IBUILD) Graduate Research Fellowship is now accepting applications through December 1, 2021 (5:00 PM EST). This fellowship will support innovative graduate research that aligns with the mission of the US Department of Energy Building Technologies Office (BTO). The IBUILD Graduate Research Fellowship program invites applications from students who are enrolled or intend to enroll in a research-focused master’s or PhD program. Students can apply here.
Undergraduate Nuclear Research Scholarship is available for full-time students from any discipline of nuclear research, who are US citizens or permanent residents and have GPA of 3.0 or higher. Email Prof. Chuvashova for more details.
Postdoc position
This position is open for candidates with backgrounds in either High Pressure Sciences, Solid State Sciences or Materials Science. A PhD (or an equivalent degree) in Physics, Materials Science or Chemistry is required.
